Vision
Within the framework of the state’s general policy to encourage travel movement and develop the volume of intra-trade between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the brotherly Arab countries and neighboring countries and to facilitate procedures for the transit of buses and trucks and transit trade between the Levant and the Maghreb, which contributes to supporting the establishment of the Arab Free Trade Area

The state has decided to unify the supervising authority over all land ports by establishing the General Authority for Land Ports and adding dry ports within the borders so that the authority will undertake the planning and management of these ports and coordinate work between the agencies working in them in a manner that ensures the smooth running of work and the high level of performance of services in them and achieve the flow and movement of transit of individuals and goods through These ports in the least time and cost, after these ports were affiliated to various authorities in the country.
